John (Dolphy) and Marsha (Nida Blanca) Puruntong, along with their children, get a change of scenery as they pay a visit to John’s ailing aunt in their hometown, Barrio Masusô. As they transition from the life in the city to a life in the province, John is reunited with the townsfolk and the family learns about the different sources of livelihood they can pursue to improve the town’s economy. Unfortunately, their town’s future is threatened by their former mayor, who opens up a chemical plant that spreads pollution throughout the land. Will John and the Puruntongs be able to stop the environmental abuse caused by the chemical plant and restore the prosperity in his hometown?
